a seasoned operator and strategist with a career
that has spanned over 34 years. Successfully leading businesses in the
dynamic and everchanging Middle East and Africa region, he has held
several senior roles within Mondelez International (previously Cadbury
Schweppes plc). His most recent roles were as President for their Middle
East and Africa Business Unit, President of the Chocolate Category for
Mondelez EEMEA and Managing Director for Cadbury Middle East and
North Africa.
He is currently a non executive director of the London Stock Exchange
listed, Vivo Energy Plc and was also a non executive director of Cadbury
Nigeria Plc and Chairperson of Mondelez South Africa (Pty) Ltd.
Areas of expertise include amongst others Brand development, Strategy
development and execution, Leadership development and mergers and
acquisitions.
He holds a degree in biochemistry and an MBA in marketing.

Strategy development and general management gathered over 30 years.
He has operated across America, UK and Middle East and Africa and has

Previous directorates include non executive director of UAC Foods
Nigeria Limited, Chairperson of Chococam in Cameroon and an executive
directorship of Mondelez South Africa Pty Ltd.
Areas of expertise include amongst others, Strategy development and
execution, large Program and Project implementations and M&A.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in
Accounting from the University of Cape Town and is an inactive member
of the South African Chartered Accountants Association.
